Travel / food diary: La Maison, Cebu

I think quaint is the proper adjective to describe this restaurant we found in Cebu. The interior made me shutter happy to the point I wanted to take photos of everything I bump into; lamps, cabinets, piano, paintings, and the like. To say that this place is photogenic is an understatement.

When I saw the door, I was drawn. The moment I opened the door, I was completely amazed by everything. The restaurant was majestic.

We ordered using iPADs. Yes! So high tech. I didn't get to take a photo of it because I was so hungry already. While waiting for the food, my friends ordered wine. They have a pretty decent collection of wines if you ask me. I am not a fan of drinking so I think that comment isn't so substantial. Haha! Since my friends were all happily drinking wine, I played the piano and disturbed peoples' peace. Kidding!

Food was superb. I am not a food blogger but I can pretty much distinguish what's spectacular and what's not. I got the steak with pasta and maaaan, it really satisfied me! Prices of food... not bad. You get what you pay for. :) oh by the way, the place is by reservation only.

I'm definitely going back to La Maison when I visit Cebu again! :-)
