My dream destinations

Friday, October 25, 2013 —
People often ask me, "why do you travel/leave Manila or the country every month?" I guess I'm just too consumed by wanderlust. I can't stop booking flights, exploring cultures, meeting different cultures, learning new things... Plus I use traveling as my escape. Whenever life gets too stressful, it only means one thing: time to hop on a plane and discover a foreign place.

I'd love to go to explore Europe and South America, but for now, I am still in the process of visiting asian countries. And of course all the local destinations here in the Philippines (Puerto Princesa, Cebu, Davao, Kalibo, Tagbilaran, Cagayan De Oro etc)

One of my dream destinations is South Korea. Why? It's one of the most spectacular and fascinating asian countries now. I mean I believe every country is beautiful. Each place has its own unique charm.

This may sound shallow but the first time I got curious about Korea is when I first watched Boys Over Flowers. HAHAHA! They featured different Korean places in that show and I've always dreamed of visiting them! Well I am not ashamed to say I love K-drama. My dad is a big fan of KBS so we watch Koreanovelas here at home. Oh and did I mention KPOP? U-KISS, 2pm, SS501, all these groups are so talented and I have this weird dream that one day I'll see them in person! (Yeah right dream on Tracy!! Haha)

I came across this tumblr blog and got addicted to it! It's called "Love South Korea" and the owner of this blog posts different photos of South Korea. Everything about it. Temples, shopping places, markets, people, food etc.

All these scenic places made my jaw dropped. The temples look amazing and I heard the shopping in South Korea is awesome. Actually, I don't need to explain how awesome Korea is. I mean just look at all these photos! I am sure that after seeing/reading this blog post, Korea will also be one of your dream destinations! (Yes, I am talking to you my dear reader :p)

South Korea is on top of my list but I'd also love to go to Kota Kinabalu and Shanghai China. I've been to Malaysia already but just in Kuala Lumpur. I heard the beaches in Kota Kinabalu are breathtaking. Being a beach baby, I am dying to swim in those beaches!!!!!!! Look at their Shangri-La there. OMG. Can I just say perfect??

And look at Shanghai China. It has a rich collection of architecture. I dunno where I got my intense love for buildings (I guess New York) but if Shanghai is a concrete jungle, oh please, take me there!

But one of my struggles when it comes to traveling is finding cheap flights. It's so hard to wait for seat sales then you'd just get frustrated cos it's not always a sure shot.

Good thing Zest Air is now flying with AirAsia, The World’s Best Low Cost Airline. The Civil Aeronautics Board (“CAB”) approved “AirAsia Zest” as the new brand name of Zest Airways, Inc.  AirAsia Zest Chairman Mikee Romero said, “We are excited to introduce AirAsia Zest, and what it represents. With our alliance, we are well positioned to offer our guests the strength of our combined network of domestic and international routes and unrivalled daily low fares, proving a world class travel experience that every Filipino deserves.

And to everyone who thinks AIR ASIA ZEST is just flying from Clark? GOOD NEWS! Air Asia Zest now flies from Manila! :) At NAIA Terminal 4. Plus, they have mega cheap flights to Kuala Lumpur & Kota Kinabalu Malaysia, Shanghai China, and Incheon South Korea!!! Also to the top local destinations: Puerto Princesa, Cebu, Davao, Kalibo (Boracay), Tagbilaran, and Cagayan De Oro.

Can't wait to book my flights with AIR ASIA ZEST! See you soon my dream destinations!!!!
