Ellen Adarna's banned coffee TV commercial

I can't believe Ellen Adarna's Nice Day Coffee TVC was banned! :o

Okay, so I've been hearing about this banned TVC of Ellen Adarna since June but I only got to watch it in Youtube a couple days ago. I love Ellen Adarna. Her strong personality has always caught my attention. I learned about her when I got super addicted with fitness and workouts. She's definitely one of my fitspirations. I check out her instagram, watch her workout videos, and her forbidden questions interview with Mo Twister!

So okay, back to the commercial. After watching this video, I was like "Why was it banned?" Sure it's sensual but that's what makes it interesting. It delivered what it wanted to convey to the audience that "healthy is hot." I personally think it was tastefully done. I'm not sure if it's because I know how Ellen portrays her image, so I've accepted this kind of commercial. But I liked how it showed her different body parts (abs, lips, legs --- which are considered the sexiest parts of a woman's body) and were used to show the different ingredients of Nice Day coffee (berries, the coffee itself).

I don't know about you guys but I didn't find this commercial offensive or whatever. To the people who are bashing this, open your eyes and minds... it caught your attention right? :p So it definitely served its purpose!

Since I got so curious (HAHAHA i'm really such an Ellen Adarna fan), I bought Nice Day coffee the other day.

Was surprised it has 3 variants: White (whitening, YES!), cleanse (perfect for me!), and slim (another variant I definitely like!) :D I tried everything already. Super yummy! If a lot of you guys are tea drinkers, I am obsessed with coffee so I'm amazed there's a coffee now with whitening, cleansing, and slimming benefits! :D It surely lived up to its tagline: HEALTHY IS HOT!

I'll update you guys re: effects of NICE DAY coffee :) But for now, check out their facebook page for updates and giveaways! :)

  1. Doesn't look like something that should be banned. Is it the CBCP, or MTRCB?
