Hello Baguio!

Weekend well-spent in Baguio! See where I stayed and what I wore during my first day in the City of Pines ;)

"Where can we go next weekend?"

My bestfriend and I wanted to just leave Manila and we thought... where is the easiest vacation place you can go to without having to plan it that much? BAGUIO!

Luckily, my friends (Ana and Sarah) went there last month so I asked for a hotel recommendation. They suggested Azalea Residences located in Leonard Wood Road.

This is what I wore during my first day in Baguio! Yup, I'm still doing normcore. :P Thank you ZALORA for my River Island top and Material Girl jogger pants. More outfit photos at the end of this post!

We arrived in Baguio around lunchtime. We rode Victory Liner going there. It took us 7 hours because of all the stopovers. We left Manila at 6am and arrived around 1! :O Thank God Azalea Residences is just 5 minutes away from Victory Liner! HOW CONVENIENT for all the bus travelers out there.

We were greeted by the uber friendly staff and gave us welcome drinks that I didn't get to photograph because I was so thirsty, I chugged it in 5 seconds :)) They told us check-in time was at 2pm. That's actually the standard check-in time for all hotels. Perfect time because we headed to Tradisyon, the Pinoy Comfort Food resto of Azalea (it's just on the right side of the lobby!)

I didn't get to take a photo of the sinigang na baboy that we ordered! WE WERE SO HUNGRY! Imagine not eating for 7 hours straight while traveling. Lol I ate like a monster =)) I can't even describe how yummy their sinigang was! Ana was right when she said the meals in Tradisyon were yummy! :)

After our meals, we got desserts! Tres leches, cupcakes, and tiramisu. WE FINISHED EVERYTHING! Hahaha. Thank you Chef Arnold for making such delicious food!!! My favorite was the tres leches so don't forget to try it when you go there :)

They also have 8 degrees lounge on the left side of the lobby. Perfect for barkadas who just want to stay in but want to drink :) Look at those cozy sofas!

Check in time! I like the interior of Azalea. It's so home-y! :)

We got the 1 bedroom suite. It has a kitchen (with utensils, appliances, free coffee & tea), sala area, 1 bedroom (with tv), 1 cr (with heater), and a balcony! And guess what? FREE WIFI in all areas of the hotel! This made me really happy. Haha!

This became my favorite place. HAHAHA. I was super feel at home. Watched a lot of TV during night time!

Bed was too comfy it was so hard to get up in the morning!

Clean CR with hot shower. Wish there was a bathtub, though! Lol :p

You can check out the other rooms (and their rates!) here.

Thinking of bringing my relatives and my big barkada here soon! So spacious and it has a relaxing vibe. You'll be surprised how affordable their rates are!

After checking out our room, we looked for a spot wherein we can take outfit photos! Thanks bes for being so patient with me =))

Top (River Island) and Jogger pants (Material Girl) from ZALORA
Birks from Topshop (haha this is so overused!)

We hungout at the Playground area for a bit after taking outfit shots haha

We finished fixing up around 4, so we decided to explore Baguio! Love that Azalea Residences is near tourist spots like Mines View Park, The Mansion, Wright Park. Just walking distance to famous food places like Ketchup Community, Just another damn good sick joint, Sala, PNKY Cafe, and 50's diner. Great location!

#7 Leonard Wood Loop, Bgy. M. Roxas Baguio City 2600, Philippines

Azalea Residences is conveniently located on Leonard Wood Road in Baguio City, Philippines, just across Teacher’s Camp. The hotel provides guests with easy access to the city’s points of interests, most of which are just a 5- to 15-minute drive away.
