Looking for a restaurant this Valentines day? :)

I can’t believe it’s Valentines day again! 26 years of no date :’( LOL! I think if ever I had a real valentines date, I wouldn’t make such a big deal out of it. I’m not being baduy or whatever but I’m really not a high maintenance person when it comes to these things. I want to be practical but still special. Sure surprises are appreciated but if I had a choice, a simple dinner date with my partner at a quaint place is good enough.

I found a restaurant that offers an amazing menu in a very classy setup but with a really good price. I’m picky when it comes to food so I make sure I get what I pay for. So the other day, I went to Epicurious Shangri-La with my bestfriend Joh for our yearly pre-valentines dinner. I was surprised to see that their Valentines menu is so affordable!

Their 3-course meal (appetizer, mains, dessert) is priced at 1,500 + per person inclusive of glass of wine. You can get soup (choice of soup of the day) or salad (mixed green salad) for appetizer, choose from their mains Rib eye with mac & cheese, veggies and roasted garlic mashed potatoes or Salmon with mac & cheese, veggies and roasted garlic mashed potatoes. And get a heart-shaped chocolate smores for dessert. To top it all off, you even get a glass of red or white wine!

Epicurious’ ribeye steak and salmon are divine and their dessert is the bomb! J I mean for 1500 per person (3000 for 2), what more can you ask for right? If the 3-course meal isn’t enough, they have a Valentines board (delicatessen and Artisinal products) for 1500.
