Bonding at Tokyo Tokyo

Catching up over Tokyo Tokyo's Mt. Katsu!

BER months are usually the time when people go out, do major shopping, and organize a lot of reunions. Personally, I can’t do these things without being energized. Usually I would run around the mall like a headless chicken but eventually I would need a pit stop at a restaurant to fill my tummy’s needs.

The other day I was running errands and passed by Tokyo Tokyo. I was craving for Japanese food and I was already super hangry from all the work I have been doing so I checked out their newest promo called: Mt. Katsu Sumo Meal. The meal includes a heap of the Big Chicken Katsu topped with teriyaki sauce, onion rings and Japanese mayo. Also comes with 4 pieces of prawn tempura, two bowls of unlimited steaming rice and two glasses of red iced tea for only P375.

Since I didn’t want to eat alone that day, I texted my blogger friend/neighbor Rhea to join me. Was super hungry but since Tokyo Tokyo is known for their big serving size, I didn’t think I could finish everything.  Luckily she was in the area so it was a perfect catch-up bonding session for us. The Mt. Katsu Sumo Meal can actually be shared by 2-3 people. Depends on the hunger level of the people, I guess. Haha!

People who have small appetite can also enjoy Mt. Katsu ala carte with rice for only P189. They may also opt to upgrade their meal to a complete Bento meal with drinks and sides for only P244. Sobrang sulit! Love promos like this because I am very kuripot. Also, I know I would be spending so much during the holidays so food promos like this are heaven-sent for matakaw people like me. Thank God for Tokyo Tokyo’s Mt. Katsu Sumo Meal.

Trying it out with my dad next week, kayo, sinong dadalin niyo to share the meal with? Hihi
